In the heart of Istria, near  Pazin, above the river Pazinčica, there is a small village Bani. Preserved nature, fresh air, quiet and homey atmosphere, are the main features of the village that  invites you to take a rest from noisy cities and relax in the amenity of nature.

In Bani, since 1983. operates Konoba Bani. Till  2002. it worked as a rural household.  From then until now it's successfully operating as a tavern. The indoor of the tavern is enriched with details from Istrian industry, and a fireplace, which gives the area a special winter atmosphere. The capacity of the inner space is 190 people, but there's also a covered outdoor space that has a seatting capacity of 200.

Tavern's main activity is providing catering services, organization of meals for organized gruops of tourists, business travelers, students and retirees.  We organize wine tasting, too. Besides this, we offer the possibility of organizing business dinner, anniversary celebration of graduation, baptism, confirmation and weddings. It's important to underline that Tavern Bani works exclusively with pre-arranged groups, and always offers a choice of menus.

To better illustrate traditional Istrian values, tavern's personnel welcomes you wearing traditional Istrian costumes, together with sounds of accordion and, if requested, there is a possibility of seeing a typical folk group from our area. During your visit you are also able to hear some  typical istrian songs and, if you're lucky you can also hear  donkey's or  rooster's song.

As far as our gastronomic offer is concerned, we offer You traditional istrian delicacies such as ham, cheese, homemade pasta, truffles are inevitable, as same as a various desserts.
